Farzana has been with India Alternatives since 2018. She has led and closely monitored investments in GoApptiv and Brinton and co-led investments in NSE and Gynoveda at India Alternatives. She has also worked on Enamor exit.
Previously, Farzana was a member of the Investment team at Gaja Capital and has led investments in Massive Restaurants, Kinara Capital, Suryoday, Avendus and worked on Eurokids deal execution and closely monitored all these companies.
Prior to Gaja Capital, she was a part of the founding team at BNP Paribas Investment Banking.
Farzana was recognised as “40 under 40 – Alternative Professionals in India” in 2020 and “India’s Top 100 Women in Finance” in 2019 by AIWMI.
Farzana is a rank holding Chartered Accountant. She completed her Bachelors in Commerce and secured 1st rank at the University of Mumbai in the Commerce Stream.
She shares India Alternatives’ mission of promoting gender diversity and represents India Alternatives in IFC’s Invest2Equal initiative.
Farzana enjoys spending time with family and friends at her second home in the hills where she is one with nature and surrounded by tranquility.
