In June 2025, Shivani delivered a keynote address at the SuperReturn Fundraising Summit in Amsterdam on the topic “From Outsider to Power Player: The Rise of India’s Domestic LPs in Private Markets.” She shared the journey of building one of India’s earliest domestic institutional capital-backed private equity funds and reflected on the evolution of the ecosystem, from regulatory challenges and initial scepticism to a thriving domestic LP base. With banks, insurers, pension funds, and family offices now managing over USD 2.2 trillion in assets, she described this as the beginning of a structural shift that will shape the next decade of private capital in India.

Shivani also participated in a panel titled “India: The Private Capital Boom” with Saurabh Chatterjee of ChrysCapital, Dr. Arvind Gupta of the Digital India Foundation, and Raj Pai of GEF Capital Partners. She spoke about India’s long-term fundamentals, including its large consumption base, globally competitive talent pool, and deepening capital markets, which continue to support economic resilience in a volatile global environment.
